Hygienic bed protection is a necessary part of managing incontinence. We offer a number of options to keep beds clean, fresh, and hygienic. From waterproof mattress covers to bed pads that stop fluid spreading out into the bed. Bed pads are a good idea if used in conjunction with waterproof mattress covers. Economy pads if wet are disposed of. The Super bed pad dries fluid instantly so you never lay on dampness and the washable pads absorb liquid into the bottom layers whilst the top stays dry to the touch. Next morning simply pop in the washing machine. Washable pads are great for children.

• We always recommend a mattress cover for all beds as it is said everyone loses one and a half pints of moisture through the pores of the skin at night. With incontinence, the best option is a waterproof mattress cover together with a bed pad. It's a belt and braces approach but beds are expensive so it makes sense to protect them.
